If you wish to stop using Visil Podu, you can delete your account. Here is the step-by-step account deletion and recovery lifecycle:
Step 1: Request Deletion
Go to App Settings > Delete Account, enter your credentials (password, OTP verification, or Google credentials) to re-authenticate, and confirm the deletion request. You will be logged out from all devices immediately.
Step 2: Enter Recovery Period
Your account status transitions to "Pending Deletion" and is immediately hidden from public view. It enters a 30-day recovery window.
Step 3: Option to Recover
At any time during the 30-day window, you can recover your account by navigating to the Recovery screen, entering your username/email/phone, and completing re-authentication. Your status will return to "Active".
Step 4: Permanent Deletion
If the 30-day window expires without a recovery request, your account enters permanent deletion. Private data is cleared, active sessions are dropped, and your profile reference is permanently anonymized.
Important Notice: To comply with financial regulations, security auditing, and fraud prevention measures, some operational records (such as transaction audit logs, report archives, and moderation history) are retained in an anonymized format and will not be fully hard-deleted.
